Imagine hiking through the Andes Mountains at heights of 10,000 to 15,000 ft in the air, camping under the stars, visiting places where the roads do not go, and meeting people who are just now learning to read and are for the first time seeing the Bible.
Join Forest School co-founder Tyler Thigpen and Quechua native Adelíd Yanac as they lead a team of adults, high schoolers, middle schoolers, Peruvian nationals, cooks, and donkeys through an Andean adventure aimed at promoting literacy, Bible distribution, and spiritual growth in the Andes. Meet the Quechua people of the Andes. Tour the famous mountaineering town of Huaraz, Peru. Shop at the local markets. Spend 4-5 days hiking beyond roads and passing out books, school supplies, sports equipment, and Bibles to local Quechuas. Cost is roughly $1300-1500 plus plane ticket and subject to change.
